ABOUT
Antonella Verdezoto-Cueva is a Latine image/filmmaker born in Quito, Ecuador, and raised in South Florida. Their work uses visual languages to alter the social and cultural memories surrounding the communities and identities they are a part of, specifically focusing on Queer and Latine communities. Antonella's work is always revolving and inspired by themes of gender, identity, and immigration to produce works that more accurately represent their identities.
Their works have been shown internationally and featured at the United Nations, Cannes Film Festival, Photoville and New York University. This past spring they completed their BFA in Photography and Imaging with minors in producing for Film and TV and Art History at NYU Tisch School for the Arts. Currently, Antonella is working as a Producer and Head of Operations at Fugitive Sister Productions based in New York City.
